Finsbury Park Singers

Your Local Community Choir

Finsbury Park Singers is a North London based 80-strong community choir led by award-winning conductor Hannah Brine.

**Book tickets for our Christmas concert on 9 December here or via Eventbrite**
**Book for our Spring term which starts on 18 January 2022.**

We rehearse in North London (Elizabeth House Community Centre) on Tuesday evenings during term time and sing a vast array of music – from pop to gospel, classical to musical theatre, jazz to folk, normally in three or four part harmony (or more!). Finsbury Park Singers is made up of local people who love singing – there are no auditions and everyone is welcome. Enjoy singing? Come and join us!

Finsbury Park Singers was founded in 2018. We perform one main concert per term, plus smaller performances at community events and markets. There are a number of socials throughout the year, including weekly drinks after rehearsals, post-concert pub visits plus occasional meals out at our favourite local restaurants. Hannah also hosts an annual singing retreat that many of our singers attend.

We are very proud to be a very community minded choir – we regularly support local charities such as StreetLink, Islington Mind and Islington Food Bank. We have raised over £3000 for charity.

In 2019 some of our members sang at The Proms (Prom 66: In the Name of The Earth) at the Royal Albert Hall. Our members also performed at The Barbican in early 2020 at their Symphonic Gospel Spirit concert with Hannah’s other community choirs: Kensington Singers and Victoria Park Singers

During the pandemic the choir have been singing together online and have made a series of Virtual Choir videos with singers from Hannah’s other choirs.
